Volunteer Park - Seattle
Went to Volunteer park in Seattle for the first time this weekend. If you have never been there I would highly recommend it! Its nice and populated however its huge therefore you do not feel as if people are piled on top of each other.
The 75' water tower built in 1906 in brick is open to the public. After climbing the 106 steps to the observation deck the amazing 360 degree views of the city were breathless. There were bars on each window making it imposable to get photos.
There are wonderful flowers all over the park and a conservatory which was built in 1912 unfortunately it was closed but I will be sure to go back soon! You can see the astonishing display of plants from all areas of the world from outside. Below is a photo of the water tower and a few flowers from outside. Enjoy!
